What does the employee benefit include?
Every employee (or client household) gets a
free 45-minute insurance review in English, German, or French with a FINMA-registered advisor: health insurance setup or optimisation, accident-cover coordination, franchise and model math, supplementary decisions, and — where relevant — pension and life questions. Each review ends with a written
Private Client Report within 3 working days. Households can return yearly for a refresh.
What does it cost the company?
Nothing. The reviews are free for the employees, and there is no program fee. We are paid by commission from insurers when a contract is issued, disclosed under
Article 45 VAG — and most reviews end with the advice to keep or restructure existing cover rather than buy something new.
What is the collective-agreement advantage?
Through framework (collective) agreements with selected Swiss insurers, eligible groups can access supplementary cover on group conditions — discounts of up to 15% on supplementary premiums, and simplified or, in defined cases, waived health questions. (Basic KVG premiums are federally approved tariffs — no insurer may discount those; the group advantage lives in the supplementary layer.) For relocating employees with pre-existing conditions this addresses the most common problem in Swiss supplementary insurance: individual underwriting that excludes exactly the people who need cover. Eligibility and scope depend on the specific agreement and group — confirmed per program.
Why do relocating employees with pre-existing conditions struggle here?
Swiss basic insurance accepts everyone by law — but
supplementary insurance is individually underwritten (Art. 4 VVG). A diagnosis, treatment, or medication from before the move can mean exclusions, surcharges, or rejection on the cover most professionals expect, such as semi-private hospital insurance. Group agreements are the structural fix;
timing and application strategy help the rest.
Does the employer see the employee's insurance details?
No. Each review is confidential between the advisor and the employee's household. The employer or program partner sees participation logistics only — never health information, policies, or report contents.
Who can offer this as a benefit program?
Three groups: employers relocating or hiring international staff; relocation and mobility partners adding an insurance module to their arrival package; and family offices or membership organisations offering the review to their client families. Same mechanics for all: a dedicated booking route, multilingual reviews, and a written report per household.
In which languages do the reviews run?
English first — the team's working language with international clients — plus German and French. Reviews run by video call at times that work around office hours.
How does a program start?
One conversation. We agree the audience and scope, set up a dedicated booking route for your people, and provide a short introduction for HR or the program owner to share. Most programs are live within days — no software to integrate, no contract binding the company.
